恳求暑期实习内推：Analog design 方向的# EE - 电子工程

妈妈舌头感觉有些麻木，去医院检查（国内），医生给做的脑部CT，CT结果显示：“检
查所见：左基底节区见斑点壮底密度影，边界较清。脑沟脑裂及脑室系统未见异常，中
线结构无移位。印象诊断：考虑左基底节区慢性腔性缺血招灶，必要时MR检查。”
医生跟我妈说她颈椎压迫，脑部有血栓，给开的药是：藤黄健骨胶囊和蛇通络胶囊。
是中成药。说是让吃一个月。医生又说这个血栓一两年都不会去除。妈妈因此很焦虑。
我对此一点不懂，不知道这个CT显示的结果就是血栓吗？要不要进行进一步检查确诊再
对症吃药的比较好？恳请大家帮忙看看！我怕我妈没事自己吓自己，反倒不好。

从上个月才知道有treaty 这回事，虽然来美已经两年了。很笨啊！
想填8833要回去年多交的税，但是实在不知道8833表的line 2 要求写internal
revenue code，这个怎么填啊。
还有一个问题，我是不是也需要填8843表，
然后8833， 8843 还有1040NR-EZ 一块寄啊？
那位朋友能帮助我一下啊，眼看快到4月18号了，真的非常着急！！

老公是加拿大公民，来美工作几年，我们在美期间结婚。
现在请问：我们一直生活在美国，老公H1B，我持H4，没有美绿卡。
我在美国能向加拿大使馆申请加拿大枫叶卡吗？
批准的几率大吗？因几年没在加工作生活。

On2 VP8 is a new codec that's said to be more efficient than H.264 esp. for
internet videos.
OggTheora is based on On2 VP3 or VP4 when On2 open sourced it.
Free Software Foundation wants Google to free VP8 codec, because presumable
by doing so VP8 will be loyalty free for Mozilla and Opera like.
Let's see whether Google does it or not. If not, just prove Google is not
not evil.

phoronix.com 的 wayland 新闻不少
不是今年就是明年，看看哪个版本先包含 wayland
ubuntu 可是夸过海口的
XBMC 也快要支持 wayland 了
Gtk+ Qt 也有了
e17 的 lib 也加了 wayland
啥时候几个主流应用移植好就差不多了

本人PhD第三年，打算暑假找个实习，
有过一次流片经历，现在做第二片，做的主要是optical transceiver方向，做过
optical interconnect系统集成，也做过CMOS avalance photodetector，用作optical
interconnect系统里面的。
其他的course project还有Frequency divider，Folded cascaded opamp，Sigma-
delta ADC，sample and hold circuit.
C++, LabView, Matlab (Simulink) 都用过。
求牛人帮忙内推一个暑期实习机会，工作内容与analog design, verification相关。

Your husband should file for the PR card for you. You can not do it on your own.
BTW: if your husband is a Canadian citizen, he should now work under TN visa, not H1B. No H1B visa is issued to Canadian citizens.

这么可怕吗?我妈好像没这么严重.我听说国内的医生经常乱开药,就是开贵的药给患者,
其实并不对症.所以想问问大家这个的诊断结果是说明有脑血栓吗? 是不是进行进一步
的MR检测比较好呢? 据说中成药大多是养,治疗效果并不会很有效,是不是这样呢? 多谢

If your W-2 already excluded the amount according to treaty, you are fine,
no action needed.
Please check your previous W-2 forms.

错，加拿大公民一样可以申请H-1B；TN签证被关口移民官否掉的，不拿H-1B怎么办？

是加拿大公民，刚来美国持TN，现在H1B已经几年了。。

itx就没什么好的主板，电源也难选，除了体积小，不见得安静。就好像很多笔记本其
实比台式机还要吵一样。
有条件还是上mATX。

So I got it: (1) Canadian Citizen->TN visa refused->H1B approved.
(2) Canadian Citizen->TN visa to start -> adjust to H1B later on.

If both of you were in Canada now, your husband could be able to sponsor the
PR card application for you... however, your situation is different.

should have eveidence to show CIC that you both will move back to canada if
your application get approved. for example, job offer from canada employer,
purchase of real estate... if you have no evendence to support your intent,
i don't think you should apply.

是的，我们目前一直居住和生活在美国
短期内也没有回加拿大的打算
要是我这种情况申请加拿大绿卡风险太大的话，我就暂时不申请了。。
主要是我们在美国的绿卡排期也要好多年的，我目前中国护照，每次出境入境都要重新
签证，很麻烦。。。。

你持中国护照的话即使拿到了加拿大的枫叶卡，你进出美国也是照样需要签证的。所以
说如果不准备在加拿大生活，拿了枫叶卡也没有什么大的用处。
