嘿嘿，总算忙完报告了～～
以下是1996年的资料：
以领域而言，
薪水最高的是：国际经济、总体（预测）、产业组织、财务分析....
大概中位数在90000-100000中间
以行业而言，
最高的是证券与投资业业（中位数100000+60000compensation），
其次是银行业（93000+20000compensation）
博士学位起新的中位数是85000
(可是我想应该是只有好工作的人才会回问卷吧，有点高...)

What's your point? The paper said economics was among the highest, it
never said it was the highest. Statistically, one econ Ph.d with 2 job
offers, one CS Ph.D. with 10 job offers, what's the difference in
compiling that statistical number? none! both of them get job offers. Oh,
by the way, I don't know how easy it is for CS Ph.Ds to get an academic job?
Salary wise, I don't know the salary level for engineering deparment, but
econ departments in A&S do pay less than the econ departments in th
