发现收到有很多email，问我如何做simulation的，提到了我的方向，但是没有提到我
的论文相关的信息，我当年把我的email留在了一个google group里面，这些email都说是通过google group找到我的,请问这种email有用么？用了会不会有害？

It can be used to strengthen contribution, as your work is useful and has
impact.

For the simulation they mentioned, which paper(s) of yours talked about it?
You could make the connections there. Of course, this evidence alone may not
be enough, which is used to support your work's usefulness. "Work" does not
necessarily mean "paper". For EB1B, Your work's impact is more important
than a mere paper publication or simple citations. For EB1A, "you" and your
reputation is more important than your work's impact.
I don't know whether "google group" will make any difference in this claim
though.

I don't second this as any contribution if claimed. Fake emails can be
easily made. IO is not foolish, and I trust citation more.

The emails are not fake, and they show that people are interested in the
work, and they want to learn about this work.
I didn't say that citation is not needed, but the email evidence is
supportive in claiming the contribution.

OK, if you want more, give me your email and your paper. I will send any
number of emails of this kind to you....

yes, and then if the IOs email you, you will say that it's fake.
That's how you make the fake emails, and that's you.
