收到一张传票, 是06/18寄出的, 07/06才收到, 上面说:
"You have 30 calendar days after this summon are served on you to file a res
ponse at the court, blahblah."
这是指对方寄出日期开始呢, 还是从我收到开始呢, TNND, 居然寄了19天才寄到.
我在学校咨询的律师在度假, 要两周才回来, 郁闷中. 哪位有经验的给个说法?

And the case is file in another state, how come I find a lawyer there, Jesus.

Disclaimer: This is by no means legal advice.
if it was filed in another state, you can just file a motion to dismiss for
lack of personal jurisdiction. If it was filed in state court, you can also
file a motion to remove the case to federal court. Either will buy you some
time. Of course, it's best to find a lawyer to handle this. But if you want to
do it pro se, these are the two motions you can file right away.
