I have not bought car insurance since the last policy ended in early October
2004. When I visited the state DMV webpage the otherday, they require an
uninsured vehicle fee. If the fee was not paid at the time of registration,
serious penalty is to be placed (my policy was still valid when I registered
my car in September).
