我有个国内的朋友正在写一篇文章介绍美国高校中执行法律的问题，我不是很懂，就只好求助于各位了。主要是以下两个问题：
1、在美国，如果高校学生觉得自己的权利遭学校侵犯（如被退学或处分）不合理的话有
什么方式可以得到帮助，可以提出申诉或到法院起诉吗？有什么法律条例做依据？
2、什么情况下，法院会受理高校学生的起诉，如果法院受理了学生起诉学校的案件，法
院是否有特别的一些原则或做法，以免影响高校学术自治的传统？
如果能给点参考的文章最好。

I don't like the style of pretending to ask a question on behalf of a friend
when in fact it is for you. You are asking anonymously, aren't you?
I am a biologist (not a lawyer therefore) originally from Taiwan. Taiwan
treats students like dirt, which annoys me to no end.
Having never to China, I don't know wha is gao-xiao. My guess is a college.
You have to talk to a lawyer. Apparently you have a big problem with your
school, but can't disclose anything. Even a lawyer can't help on line like

I do not like the style of forejudgement...
I ask it on behalf of my friend who is a PhD student in Education in Xia'men University and she is doing some research on the issue of confliction between the law, college management and the interests of students in mainland China. She just wants to consult on how US deals with this.
But I do appreciate your reply. Thanks.

I did a little legal research from cornell university's website. You can ask
your friend to do the same in other univesities.
Or simply google "campus code of conduct", and you will get surprisingly much
information.
