I acknowledge there are less more people still like reading.
But, how can I accept that the GGs are much less than JJs here? Is it true, or
not?
Could someone give me a answer? Thanks!

改叫男人对brooding women的fetish可能更确切。要不中国古代的春愁闺怨题材，为什么
是男作家白写不厌，男读者白看不厌？相比之下迎合同时代女士胃口的柳永，人家倒是香
艳多于愁怨。

or meant present day. you are talking about the past here.
ladies love 柳永 not because of his broodiness nor the lack of it. he was
something like a grunge rock star, outcasted from political career and
his talent confined to making lyrics and folk songs. so maybe he turned
rebelious and sympathized with not-so-respectable women. after he died,
those literate prostitutes in his time would visit his tomb and memorize
him at qing-ming.
it was perhaps a cult, but not a fetish.
GGs need not be freake

欧喜欢看的书他都不喜欢看。
欧喜欢大部分的有意思的书。
所以结论是大部分有意思的书他都是不看的。

the same but took more time thinking things over, now and then, swayed btw
reasons and impressions, more preyed by feelings.
females write and read with sympathy. they write about a world seeing from
their own eyes. when they read, they tend to sympathesize with characters,
hold good will and more imaginative space. somehow i thought that's related
with ladies being more receptive to fictions (silly or shrewd ones

Hard to tell which is better. Clinically, women are more prone to
depression and men more prone to suicide.
Sounds ok as a general classification of the average amateur reader: women
stress the emotional sympathy and men prefer the intellectual critique. You
can see similar trend when comparing the Fashion/Food and History/Military
boards on this bbs. However it has little meaning for individual readers, and
nothing at all for professional critics.
On the writer's side, I'd say there'
