Radiohead's managers have said that the band will sign a record deal to
release new album 'In Rainbows'.
Managers Chris Hutton and Brice Edge spoke to BBC Radio 4's 'Today'
programme this morning (October 4) about the release.
Responding to whether the band would sign a deal, Hutton said: "Yes,
absolutely. We've got about seven days to sort it out. We tend to fly by the
seat of our pants.

Radiohead new album: artist reveals cover art clues
Artist Stanley Donwood has revealed some clues behind the artwork for 'In
Rainbows'.
While the download version of the album does not have a set price, the
discbox, which will contain the new album on CD, a second enhanced CD with
more songs, 2 vinyl LPs, digital photographs, artwork and lyric booklets all
encased in a hardback book and slipcase, will cost £40.

Radiohead new album: fans complain about bit rate
'In Rainbows' encoded too low for some fans
Radiohead have drawn complaints from fans who have been attempting to
download their new album 'In Rainbows' today (October 10).
An e-mail sent to fans who registered to buy the album says the songs are
encoded at 160 kbps - which is higher than the iTunes rate of 128 kbps but
not high enough for some fans.

we talked about it and we just wanted to make it a bit better than iTunes,
which it is, so that's kind of good enough, really. It's never going to be
CD quality, because that's what CD does."

Radiohead's new album 'In Rainbows' will not make the Top 40 chart on Sunday
(October 14).
The band are refusing to say how many people have ordered the album or what
they paid for it.
The band's website does not report sales to chart compilers so will be
illegible for the chart.

Their MP3 is DRM free
the counter part on iTunes is iTunes PLUS
which is 256kps AAC
Anyway, I sent complain to the sales website.
