google for PSO(particle swarm optimization) you should be able to find. ACER also post a link in EE. I will forward to here.
I did not try any code yet. But I do have a basic equation from the inventer.

It IS effient/fast.
但也有适用条件.而且作为一种社会模型,可以解释一些社会行为学的问题. 从算法角度揭

I'm not qualified to do seminar.
IF ask for examples, PSO(particle swarm optimization) and ACOant colony
optimization) are two algorithms inspired from swarm/ant behaviour. ANd they
helped to solve important problems like TSP(travel salesman problem), netwokring
routing rpoblem, fast search, ect..
PSo features memory and learning from neighor.
ACO features smell/odor mark.

I don't think the reviewer knows much about AI or the other methods
mentioned in the book. It is understandable that he accepted all the
views of the book without criticism.
One of the most interesting thing about AI is that whenever they
find something (new or not actually new), people would just believe
that they have found the true answer to all the problems of the world and
decide to publish a book on it.
(Aka, out-dated AI-philoshophy books are the last thing
you want on your reading lists.
