更忠实于Buddhism文化和成语的用意
用preach可以做注释性说明，如果谈话方不熟悉佛教，但和尚不preach

问题在于，monk和后头的preach感觉是两个教派的混搭，放在一块有点怪怪的

Monk本身词源是古希腊，就是禁欲单身的宗教 practitioner, 也用在基督教里，
bishop,priest更多是说明教内职位职能。Monk说给西人听没问题，修道院里男性就是
monk。
Preach是指给sermon，讲道传教的意思。
英文也讲budda's preaching, sermon都是通用的。
所以，monk, preach其实是用在所有中西的宗教context下，完全没问题。
所以，monks from afar preach better是比较简洁准确的翻译。

都没有翻出原句的真实涵义，recite lection (sutra)也许接近些
『念经』说的是个没智力成分的事

这就是对中文理解的差异。
我理解这里念经就是讲经布道做法事什么的，因为不知根底，听众观众多了些敬畏，和
尚随便说点啥都觉着是口灿莲花，大有深义。
不是字面念经那个背诵经文。
