玻璃心觉得若是把常用的pet/dog/cat用tofu代替，是不是有点辱华的意思，求开解。。。

看上下文这个主要是表达一种政治态度，跟华是一点关系都没有。我猜测是有点hippy
的意思。

有意思，我也google了一下
感觉跟hippy不hippy没有关系，看下面这一段

肯定不是辱华的意思
Knit your own tofu, 也说成knit your own yogurt，grow your own yogurt
首先这都是英国英语，所以这里不常见使用。
本意很简单，不管是yogurt还是tofu, 都是加东西到milk里做出来的食品
往牛奶里加细菌就生成了yogurt
往豆奶里加固化剂就生成了豆腐块。
knit=grow
一个blog追溯这个表达到英国17世纪自给自足的年代，所以引申含义应该和生活态度有
关。
网上见过的几个用法，除了几个已经贴出来的，还有：

我感觉是自给自足，mind own business的意思
