1. I was trying to figure it out the years.
6 years old starting school, 12 years before college, you are 18.
4 years college, you are 22.
Well, if you are in China or Canada, it might be totally different.
So if, in the US, Being a Ph.D. Candidate, First year, you will be at least
25. So when you say, second year Ph.D. You will be around 25~26.
Is Canada medical school same as Europe? European Medical School Education
is similar to China, Japan.
Ph.D. program, first two years, what people call those? not even are Ph.D.
candidates. After the "qualification", you become A Ph.D. Candidate.
Now back to M.D. Ph.D. program.
Only Medical School offers M.D./Ph.D. program. You can have your Ph.D.
whereever you want but you still need to get into Medical school for a M.D.
degree. it is NOT going to saving you anything because you, no matter what,
4 years Medical School training is the requirement. You can, however, claim
yourself as M.D./Ph.D. after Medical School graduation with M.D. degree.
If the University has Medical School; the Medical school M.D./Ph.D. wants
you and count your Ph.D. as part of their M.D./Ph.D. years, Anything
possible, 7 years, 8 years, 9 years. All depending on you and the Medical
School, because it is out of ordinary.
