Come on, do you guys even know how the American system works? First, you don't join a major until your second year in the US universities. You want to study CS in top schools, you have to apply for the department/college after freshman. For business major such as accounting and financial, you have to apply for the business school. When I was in school, you literally has three groups of people. One group want to go to business school, one group wants to do engineering, and one group wants to go to medical school. The business and engineering got the good/bad news first, because >50% of them will not be admitted into the business/engineering school and they have to decide on what to do. And about 90% of pre-med will realize (they didn't realize as an incoming freshman because everyone has >4.0 GPA from the high school) they sucked at school and decide to do something else. There are departments specifically for these losers, they are called Communication and Psychology majors. Yes, if you study biological science in undergraduate, most of them are aiming for the medical school.
I already told you guys that American medical schools don't care about your undergraduate majors. I know people from English major to computer science undergraduate degree going to medical school. Biology and biochemistry just easier because you also want to make sure your GPA is high for the med school application.
