最近文章Scientific report文章修回，要补个实验，试剂到货太慢，4周内修不回去了
，要给编辑发信延期，请问下面那个 “we can close your file”是啥意思？是此次
投稿关闭，以后就需要重走一遍流程的意思吗？那也太浪费时间了啊。Scientific
report现在审稿超慢。

send it within this time, please let us know so that we can close your file.
In this event, we will still be happy to reconsider your paper at a later
date as long as you haven't submitted similar or related work elsewhere in
