How can you not to finish the basil? Just add more :) It always smell and taste good - you can add in soup, eggplant, stir-fry, almost anything... If you really don't use a lot, buy a live plant from store, and each time when you need, take couple leaves off, the freshest and it won't go bad, since it;s growing...
