大家都是怎么找到能拿rebate的buyer agent的?
记得有人说，自己先看房子，看好了找个能拿rebate的buyer agent，这个agent不需要
做什么事，只要签合同的时候出场一下，是不是这样操作的？

我现在是在redfin上找房子呢，觉得这个网站真不错！像我们这种第一次买房的是不是
就找redfin买就行了？

I got a lot of info from a real agent when I 1st started searching. But she'
s too pushy so I switched to redfin. You need to do all your own homework.
Redfin agents opens doors for you and submit offers for you. Don't expect
any advice from them

it's MUCH difficult to find a good agent than an agent with rebate

First time home buyer should use a good agent and not try to find
one with a rebate. A good agent can help you understand the real estate
buying process, help you avoid pit falls, and might get you
good estimate of the worth of the property you are buying therefore
saving you more than the commission rebates you might get. If your
agent is not explaining things to you, find another agent.

我的代理给我们1%的返还,
我们用她的时候问他能不能给我们一点返还,她说可以,就接着用了.:)

我们的agent给的rabate还是不少的，当然我们基本是自己看openhouse，自己找房，他
只是下offer。

Just curious. Did he open the doors for you when you were visiting houses?
If not, how did you get into the houses? Thanks for any info.

如果看open house当然没有问题了，但是其他的房子还是要Agent带着看的。

我们买房子，代理一分钱没退给我们。事后根本不好意思提了。
所以啊，千万一开始就要跟代理把话讲开说明。

All agents now offer rebate. As to how much, it depends on the price of the
house you are buying. It is very common for agent to take only 1% commission
for a million dollar sale, and the rest will be your rebate. They will take
more for lower priced houses.

Actually this is not true. I went to two open houses and the agents there
tried to get me to be their client by emailing me houses that I may be
interested. When I asked them about receiving rebate, both said they don't
offer rebates
