• Current students obtaining BS or MS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering Graduation Year: Dec 2022 through June 2023

• 0-2 years of experience 

• Experience in building complex and quality mobile iOS apps 

• Experienced with one of the following languages: Javascript, Java, C/C++ or any other similar programming language

• Passion for delivering quality end-user facing products

• Familiarity with deployment and writing tests

• Ability to work with a team of engineers, designers, and product managers

• Excitement for taking on projects that directly impact our travelers

• Willingness to operate in a fast-paced environment

• A product-minded approach to engineering. You should be excited about working directly with our students and tutors to make sure they have an amazing experience.

• Experience writing software in Python, Kotlin, Swift,react.js, or Javascript either in school, side projects, or professionally.

• A passion for learning. Just as we believe in helping our students learn English, we're eager to help our interns learn software engineering - we hope you're as excited about learning as we are!

• A global perspective. You should be excited about building an app in 10+ languages that integrates with the social networks and payment methods used by our students.

• Currently enrolled in a Computer Science degree program with at least 3 years of study completed.

• Able to work 40 hours/week alongside our SF-based engineering team.

• Applicants must be pursuing at least a Bachelor’s or a Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field

• Have a solid grasp of Operating Systems, Data structures, algorithms and at least one modern programming language such as Java, Python, JavaScript, etc.

• Excited to learn and build complex user interfaces, data visualizations, or backend systems

• Have a drive and desire to navigate unknowns, after all, that’s what unlocks realizations

• Ability to collaborate and work in a team environment

• Able to commit 40 hrs a week for 12 weeks

• Ready to start work full-time by Spring 2024 (preferred)
