• Proficiency in C, familiarity with MISRA C a plus.

• Experience in embedded development in robotics, real-time controls, or system software is a huge plus.

• Fluent in software fundamentals including software design and maintainability.

• Experience with the embedded microprocessor tools.

• Controls software and algorithm development.

• Test driven development and familiarity with developer driven automated testing.

• Ability to collaborate and communicate complex technical concepts.

• Understanding of physics and basic principles is highly preferred.

• Actively pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or a related technical field, and a strong record of academic achievement.

• Applicants should have at least one quarter/semester remaining in their studies after their internship concludes.

• The Splunk internship program runs for a minimum of 10 weeks, up to a maximum of 12 consecutive weeks with start dates between May and June 2023. Applicants should be available to participate full-time (40 hours/week) in an internship during this time

• Knowledge of software engineering processes, agile framework, tools, methods, test development, algorithms and data structures

• iOS experience. Proficiency in Swift or Objective-C. XCode, Cocoapods, Swift Package Manager, SwiftUI.

• Familiarity with object-oriented programming concepts, large-scale software architecture, networking and distributed systems, and UNIX/Linux environments
