习近平的“老友记”：我在老挝有一群校友

“习近平主席是一位重情重义的真朋友。”

这是老挝国会副主席宋玛·奔舍那对习近平主席的评价。上世纪60年代，在北京八一中学，他的家族与学生时代的习近平相识相交，开始了一段跨越世纪的友情。 

2010年，时任国家副主席的习近平访问老挝时，专门联系到了宋玛和妹妹开玛尼，并安排了一个多小时的见面。

那场会面让宋玛惊喜又激动，更让他惊讶的是习近平主席还记得当年在校的很多细节。

“他记得我们在八一学校时候的一些微小的细节，有些东西我们自己都不记得。他记得我们那时候穿灯芯绒裤子。”

宋玛说：“习主席是念旧的，他曾多次提及在老挝有一拨校友，他是重情重义的真朋友。”

Sommad said: "President Xi is nostalgic and has repeatedly said that he has a group of schoolmates here in Laos. He's a true friend."

2017年11月，习近平主席对老挝进行国事访问，他再次会见了奔舍那一家。习主席特别强调，作为中老友好的见证人，要把这份友谊传承下去。

"It's very, very rare for a president to talk with such passion, such pride about having been a farmer. Some presidents ignore it. But not him," said Alberto Zamora, Marco Zamora's son.

As a leader who has personally experienced poverty, One of President Xi's famous saying is "try hard not to leave any country behind". He welcomes other countries to get aboard the fast train of China's development.

"Xi Jinping is a leader with international responsibilities, and what he tells his friends he will do, he truly does."
