Wu Yibing became the first Chinese mainland player to lift an ATP Tour trophy after winning the Dallas Open title on Sunday.

The 23-year-old endured 44 aces from host player John Isner and saved four championship points to achieve a history-making 6-7 (4), 7-6 (3), 7-6 (12) victory in two hours and 59 minutes.

伊斯内尔在评价自己决赛中的对手时说：“感觉吴易昺打每一球时候的状态都是相同的，看不到压力和紧张。他需要击球时，他就把球打过来。你很难打出让他感到难受的球。他不可思议、非常有天赋。”

"It's like he plays every point the same, so definitely no nerves," said Isner about Wu's performance. "He gets a ball to hit, he hits it, and on this court it's hard to hit him a shot he is uncomfortable with. He is an unbelievable ball striker and a very good talent."

颁奖礼上，吴易昺还不忘展示一下自己的幽默感：“这场比赛非常艰难。我被砸了，我也不记得了，大概100个ACE球吧。考虑到伊斯内尔每发一个ACE都会捐100美元，这倒是一件好事。很多孩子都会为此感到高兴。这里面也有我一份功劳，因为我经常站在那里一动不动。”

"It was a very tough match today. I'm facing, I don't know, 100 aces. It's a good thing he has this $100 thing, this makes more kids happy. I will take credit for that, because I’m not even moving when he serves."

在前一日拿下半决赛后的采访环节，吴易昺的小幽默也让大家哈哈大笑。

被问到是怎么战胜头号种子弗里茨，首次击败世界前十时，吴易昺表示：

“我也不知道，嘿。我今天比赛时没有多想比分或输赢，我就希望展现最好的自己。另外就是你们（现场观众）太棒了，为我们的每一分鼓掌、欢呼。谢谢大家！”

被夸赞给时尚杂志拍摄照片时，他也幽默地说：

“我肯定是在网球场时比拍这些照片更自在一些。其实（那些照片里）我应该可以更帅一些。发型和妆容，都有进步空间呀！”

The fast-rising Chinese star will rise to a career-high world No 58 on ATP rankings.

在2022年美国网球公开赛中，他曾取得中国男网球员在大满贯正赛的历史首胜，并一路闯进第三轮创造历史。
