“Interconnect” The Play with English subtitles brings a story of the young generation of Asian American families embracing cultural identity and diversity through current events in fighting the pandemic and heightened racial tensions that led to the Stop Asian Hate movement. In the spirit of Internet history at MIT, they learned how to build a bridge instead of a wall between different cultures, races, and countries.  The play is brought to you and the community by MIT Chinese Students and Scholar Association, Shiyin Poetry Society, and MIT Wuming Theater Club.

Xiaohui Di, Art Director at Shiyin Poetry Society and Maple Drama Club, graduated from the Acting Department of the Central Academy of Drama. She has rich experience in stage, film and television performances. Her masterpieces include plays "Tiger Charm", "Sangshuping Chronicle", movies "Maple Bay", "Ye Hena", TV series "Anita Mui" and "You Are My Eyes".

Nick Ke Ning, Founder of Shiyin Poetry Society, joined the MIT Wuming Drama Club during his graduate studies at MIT, and starred in the plays "Mr. Donkey", "Das Kapital", "18 Springs", "Who Killed Robert". He has also played various roles in Maple Drama Club's "Where Am I" and "Ivy League Dream", and toured Off Broadway and Beijing.

王晓梅，国家一级播音员。曾任中国中央电视台《经济半小时》编导，旅居美国波士顿，组织、导演、主持大型文艺演出，如《北美千人黄河大合唱》、《红楼梦歌曲演唱会》、《刘三姐组曲演唱会》等，并先后在话剧《海外剩女》、《爬藤》、《丁龙的梦》等剧中担任主要角色，西雅图中文电台优秀主持人，在西雅图中文电台主持《文学欣赏》节目。

Xiaomei Wang, China national first-class anchor. Used to be an editor-director of China Central Television's "Economic Half-hour", she lived in Boston, USA, organized, directed, and hosted large-scale theatrical performances, such as "Yellow River Cantata by Thousand of Voices in North America", "Dream of Red Mansions Concert", "Liu Sanjie Concert", etc. She has successively played major roles in plays such as "Where Am I", "Ivy League Dream", and "Ding Long's Dream". She is an excellent host of the Seattle Chinese Radio Station where she hosted the "Literature Appreciation" program.

郭俐媛，师从故事爷爷孙敬修老师的唯一嫡传弟子肖君老师，得到曹灿、周正，连德之，瞿弦和，方菊芬等多位朗诵表演艺术大师的倾情指导。承袭孙派讲故事艺术风格，是国内资深语言艺术培训教师，并长期担任全国性语言类大赛评委。定居波士顿后，主持过各类大型活动；并参与了话剧《爬藤》《丁龙的梦》的演出；成立了郭俐媛语言艺术学校，培养了一批优秀的朗诵小演员，对传承中国文化有着深远的影响。

Liyuan Guo, studied under Jun Xiao whose teacher was Jingxiu Sun, the godfather of the storytelling in China, has received great guidance from Can Cao, Zheng Zhou, Dezhi Lian, Xianhe Qu, Jufen Fang and many other vocal and performing artist. With the artistic style of storytelling of the Sun, she is a senior language art training teacher in China and has served as a judge of national language competitions for a long time. After settling in Boston, she has presided over various large-scale activities; participated in the performances of the drama "Ivy League Dream" and "Ding Long's Dream"; established the Guo Liyuan Language Arts School, and trained a group of outstanding young recitation actors, having a great influence on the inheritance of Chinese culture with profound influence.

单东旭，语言表演艺术爱好者，大学期间曾在广播台工作，后与世界各地的台友制作广播剧和小说连播。曾参演波士顿枫香剧社的话剧《海外剩女》，《爬藤》和《丁龙的梦》。

Dongxu Shan, having a passion for language performance art, worked in a radio station during college, and then produced radio shows for dramas and novels with colleagues all over the world. He has participated in the plays "Where Am I", "Ivy League Dream" and "Ding Long's Dream" by Boston Maple Drama Club.

郭旭，原河北电视台主播、编导、制片人，创办《非常访谈》栏目。曾任中央电视台《东方时空》编导，《旅行家》栏目主持人。波士顿拾音朗诵社演员，曾多次策划导演主持音乐朗诵晚会。广播剧《互联》制作人之一。主演电影短片作品《涟漪》、话剧《丁龙的梦》和《杂音》。

Xu Guo, former anchor, director, and producer of China Hebei TV Station, founded the "Extraordinary Interview" TV series. She used to be the editor-director of CCTV's "Oriental Time and Space" and the host of the "Traveler" program. An actor of the Shiyin Poetry Society, who has planned, directed and hosted music poetry recitation evening series. One of the producers of the radio drama "Interconnect". Starring in the short film "Ripples", plays "Ding Long's Dream" and "A Deal".

龘鳕键，美国学生，会中文、日文等多国语言，爱好表演，参加过拾音塔夫茨音乐朗诵会演出，并在UMBCSSA国庆中秋晚会表演相声。

Kadder Baldassarre, an American student, can speak Chinese, Japanese and many other languages. He likes to perform and has participated in the Tufts’s Shiyin music poetry recitation. He also performed standup comedy at the UMB CSSA National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival Gala.

武元杰，郭俐媛语言艺术学校优秀学员之一；出色完成每年Hopkinton市春晚及郭俐媛语言艺术学校春节朗诵专场演出的主持任务，并在各类朗诵比赛中多次获奖。

Yuanjie Wu, one of the outstanding students of Guo Liyuan Language Arts School; he has excellently hosted the annual Hopkinton City Spring Festival Gala and Guo Liyuan Language Arts School Spring Festival recitation special performance, and has won many awards in various recitation competitions.

王文兮，银河少儿剧团（湾区）学员，师从王晓梅老师学习朗诵表演，曾主持波士顿国际亚州音乐节及Acton中文学校文艺汇演，担任新丝路少儿模特大赛全美总决赛特约小记者，参与洪恩中英双语教学节目录制。

Wenxi Wang, student of Yinhe Children’s Theater Troupe (Bay Area), studied recital performance under the guidance of teacher Xiaomei Wang, hosted the Boston International Asian Music Festival and the Acton Chinese School Art Performance, served as a special reporter for the National Finals of the New Silk Road Children’s Model Contest, and participated in Hong En Chinese-English bilingual teaching program recording.

曹博越，喜欢表演，朗诵，主持，跳舞，唱歌和吹长笛；酷爱阅读和写作。她是郭俐媛语言艺术学校的学生，曾获得孙敬修杯全国语言艺术大赛诗歌和故事两个类别的特等奖。她的作文也多次获得大奖。她曾在小电影《梅》里饰演主角。

Vincy Cao, loves acting, reciting, hosting, dancing, singing and flute playing, and especially reading and writing. She is a student of Guo Liyuan Language Arts School, and has won the grand prize in the poetry and story categories of the Sun Jingxiu Cup National Language Arts Competition. Her composition has also won many awards. She once played the leading role in the small movie "Mei".

波士顿东方之声合唱团创建于2000年，是一支具有凝聚力，充满激情与活力的美国华人混声合唱团。二十年来，坚持弘扬中华文化，积极参与各种慈善义演奉献社区，并在合唱比赛中屡获佳绩，将众多优美的中外歌曲传唱至世界各地，赢得了包括2012年维也纳国际成人合唱比赛的金奖等多项殊荣。

Founded in 2000, the Boston Eastern Heritage Chorus is a cohesive, passionate and energetic American Chinese chorus. Over the past 20 years, it has been focused on Chinese culture and heritage, actively participated in various charity performances and contributed to the community, repeatedly achieving good results in chorus competitions. It has performed many beautiful Chinese and foreign songs all over the world, and won the gold medal in the 2012 Vienna International Adult Chorus Competition among many other awards.

Founded in May of 2007 in Boston, Massachusetts, the North American Chorus Association (NACA) is a non-profit, artistic and musical association. Its Philharmonic Chorus is a selected group who love choral art, in the pursuit of the realm of choral vocal music and its delightment, inspire more people to love choral art, and become high-level community art groups.

郭凌，美国女音乐家联盟，钢琴家及合唱指挥协会成员。北美华人合唱协会及爱乐合唱团组建人之一及艺术指导，波士顿东方之声合唱团钢琴及指挥。原湖南师大音乐学院钢琴教师，朗基音院钢琴伴奏，北美亚洲表演艺术协会副会长。曾受邀参加凤凰卫视及中央电视台的华人春晚；钢琴比赛及考级、波士顿好声音的评委。与许多著名艺术家合作演出；参演及联合组织过百余场音乐会，艺术经历及教学经验丰富并屡获嘉奖。对推动及普及波士顿及周边的华人合唱做出了突出的贡献。曾就读于北京舞蹈学院，中央音乐学院。美国朗基音乐学院硕士。

Ling Guo, a member of the International Alliance for Women in Music, Pianist Association and Choral Conductors Association. Founding member and Art Director of the North American Chinese Chorus Association and the Philharmonic Chorus. Piano accompanist and conductor of the Boston Eastern Heritage Chorus. Former piano instructor at Hunan Normal University Conservatory of Music, piano accompanist of Longy School of Music, vice president of North American Asian Performing Arts Association. She was invited to participate in Phoenix Satellite TV and CCTV Chinese Spring Festival Gala, as a judge of piano competitions and grade examinations. She has participated in and co-organized more than 100 concerts, and has rich artistic and music teaching experience and won numerous awards. She has made outstanding contributions to the promotion and popularization of Chinese chorus in and around Boston. Studied at Beijing Dance Academy and Central Conservatory of Music, she earned a master degree at Longy School of Music in the US.

Haojun Jia, co-chairman of the MIT Chinese Students and Scholars Association, is in the fourth year of Ph.D. in the Department of Chemical Engineering, and his research field is computational quantum chemistry.

顾辛仪，麻省理工学院中国学生学者联合会联席主席，计算机系PhD第四年，研究领域脑科学图像分析。

Xinyi Gu, co-chairman of the MIT Chinese Students and Scholars Association, Ph.D. in the fourth year in EECS, research in the field of brain science image analysis.

谢清昀，無名剧社资深社员，自二〇二〇年春季起在该社主持全面工作。無名剧社在疫情期间坚持上演线上话剧，其后于二〇二二年在MIT上演《秃头歌女》、《我爱XXX》，在麻省理工学院和波士顿中文群体中引起热烈反响，并在波士顿乃至美国中文校园剧社中独树一帜。

Qingyun Xie, senior member of the Wuming Theater Club who has presided over club affairs since spring 2020. Wuming continued to stage online performances during the pandemic, and then staged "The Bald Soprano" and "I Love XXX" at MIT in 2022. These productions received overwhelming response from the MIT and local Chinese-speaking communities, and have firmly established Wuming at the forefront of Chinese theater clubs in American universities.
