I again will be your speaker and I am looking forward to yet another informative lecture. So I hope everyone is doing well, let’s begin. This weeks lecture is based on Anesthetics, General Anesthesia, a man aged 59 with bowel cancer who requires General Anesthesia then surgery to remove a tumor.D: Hello Mr Dean, please take a seat. We have the results back from your tests and our diagnosis is that you have bowel cancer, I'm sorry.P: Oh my, I'm speechless, i don't know what to say. Are you sure Doctor? i mean, i feel fine, i only took the tests to reassure my wife everything was OK.D: Well its a good thing that your wife urged you to come in or else we might not have had enough time to help you. On the plus side the cancer is localized, which means it hasn't spread anywhere else. Now can we discuss our surgical recommendations? Time is of the essence.
