Our Search Applied Science team is looking for motivated and talented individuals at various career stages of their careers to work on the latest AI innovation and multiple user scenarios like search, recommendation, etc.

Responsibilities

As an Applied scientist, you will play a critical role in the team. You will need to understand the design, code and features of many different scenarios and AI innovation, quickly come up to speed and deliver ideas/model via this intuitiveness, attention to detail and responsiveness. You must be able to have deep understanding in model training, sensitivity to data and enthusiasm to AI techniques. You should be able to analyze the problem/data, design the algo/model with correct metrics and drive the plan independently. You must have good partnership and influencing skills to be able to work across multiple teams.

Qualifications

1. A BS/MS or PhD degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or related field.
2. Expertise or solid experience in machine learning, data mining, NLP, or deep model training frameworks (e.g., Pytorch).
3. Experience in large language models, information retrieval, or recommendation is a big plus.
4. At least 2+ years of experience programming in Python, C++/C# and/or other computer programming languages preferred.
5. Ability to derive creative and innovative solutions by thinking "outside the box".
