Melodies of Spring in Jiangnan

 

Bending willows gracefully sway,

Spring's breath renews the verdant play.

Blooms adorn the river shore with vibrant hues,  

Birdsong weaves through the tree branches.

An awning boat passes under quaint bridges,

Amid fine drizzle and misty fog, akin to fairy's dreams.

On the boat, a charming boat lady rows,

She sings a cappella with a melody that glows.

受勃朗宁的诗启发，写了这首诗，我下个月回国，又要看到这些美景了。。。

我前年冬天和去年冬天在湖州的时候，很多植物还是绿色的。北京的冬天雾蒙蒙的，4月开始春暖花开了。

我曾用中文写过一首赞美江南的诗，这次看到虫虫用的勃朗宁的诗，我就把中文进行了简化，翻成了英文。

感觉虫虫的选择，更富有诗情画意，有着江南女子的柔美。。。

我也学习了：）

“Weeping willow” 只是一个名字，垂柳。

Weaving through 觉得更有穿梭的意思。如果强调的是鸟儿在林间穿梭，weaving through 更合适。

Ripple through 更有荡漾的意思。歌声荡漾在林间。
