Sometimes this long thin flaps of meat wraps around the rib bone 3 to 4 times. "LA Gar bi", are Beef short ribs. About 3 inches tall, 6 to 7 inches long and 1/4 to 1/3 inches thick. The Marination is same, however the cutting and preparing is where the difference comes in. Beef spare ribs (Gar bi), are cut length wise (parallel) to the bone. But, the Beef short ribs (LA Gar bi), are cut perpendicular to the meat and the bone. This makes the short ribs softer.

也有叫beef short ribs的,还可能有别的叫法,是牛肉,然后切成这样的就是了 galbi一般就是我贴的这种样子 short ribs的话也有块状的,长这样 这种块状的一般是用来炖或者烤箱烤着吃的
