Henry Ward Beecher:
The philosophy of one century is the common sense of the next.
听起来很provocative, 有点自大。可想想，这也不是针对哲学，对科学也是
类似。程度不同而已。物理诺贝尔奖得主Steven Weinberg说，现在一个平均
水平的物理系研究生对相对论的理解比老爱还多还深。这就是人类整体100年能够
取得的进步，是好事。

这是在夸哲学呢。如果真是这样，至少这世纪的哲学还算是被公认的了。怕就怕

the 1% becomes commonsense--in the ideal situation.
