The problem of the Chinese translation of Gibbon's Decline & Fall
My problem with Chinese books began with this Chinese translation.
Traditionally, or by common sense, I should believe that the translation I
have in hand is the best Chinese translation, since it bears the Commercial
Press imprint, which is the most prestigious press in China.
