我是五月份开始申请J1豁免，当时同时给纽约和DOS寄送了相关材料。但是现在由于本
人曾是公派留学人员，所以目前先撤消了当时的申请，现在还在等国家留学基金委的消
息，后面才能再次用相同的材料申请J1豁免。请问这种情况，我需要下次申请的时候同
时给纽约和DOS再次寄送相关材料吗？我主要担心之前寄得太早，过得时间太长，他们
会不会弄丢了。

问候了定这个制度的祖宗一百遍，也得照办。。。。请问谁知道成都哪个中信点可以收
护照复印件作为缴费预约的凭据？

这属于“五荤”之一，是佛教的禁食之一。我给你解释一下佛理吧：
实际上，佛教忌食荤腥，“腥”才是指的动物的肉蛋，“荤”则是五类容易破坏修行的
植物：蒜；韭；葱；藠头和兴渠（兴渠只在印度和新疆生长），又称“五荤”。所以合
起来“荤腥”慢慢的就被人简称为“荤”了！
很多人认为五荤是植物，为何不能吃？其实影响是很大的：
一、佛陀在《楞严经》里提过，五荤吃了之后嘴中就带有难闻的气味，不利于和人沟通
，也不利于与神仙交流，反而会招惹鬼怪，不利于自己的修为和成长。
其次，五荤是天地不正之气所生的食物，味重气毒，吃了会伤五脏六腑（有些还增强性
欲，你懂的，所以更不能吃）；修道人心平气和，主清淡不重口味，所以戒吃！
1蒜：伤心躁火气，吃多心神容易散漫不振。
2葱：伤肾耗水气，吃多情绪不稳惊慌难安。
3韭：伤肝克木气，肝火旺盛容易动怒伤情。
4薤：[xiè] 就是我们说的“藠头”，伤脾困土气，脾胰不顺经常烦恼忧郁。
5兴渠：伤肺蔽金气，肺劳经常出悲观心态。
所以韭菜吃多了，容易性冲动。

我去了好几个都收
肯定没问题，官网上写了复印件可以的

说的很有道理
要修果味就必须禁止小五荤
但是先一定要吃素和培养慈悲心这是大前题

it depends, generally speaking, if you want to take an easy ride, then it
is too late for any field once everyone knows it is hot...but I guess not
many can see a field way ahead of its time although in reality it might
not be that hard(or as hard as it seems)...Anyway, for a PHD, it is
almost for sure too late, we are talking about 7-10 ys aways. there are
hardly any fields ever lasting/hot for over a decade(I know I am deadly
wrong with this statement but I am making it...but does it/a field

you need to understand what is "hot". a field w/o many profitable
companies and/or huge investment inflow can't really be called "hot".

I think there will be many companies soon. I think it's not too late. In 10
years, might be the hayday of making money using this.

optimistic than me when come to the application of stem cells...another
extreme is it could be we are making
virtually no progresses in application sides with stem cells after another
ten ys although we seem to
understand lots of more of the basic biology...one example of that is Cancer
biology...anyway, I am of course
more optimistic than pictured above

like cancer, like stem cell?
I guess the US would not throw as much cash to stem cell as cancer, coz in cancer researchers did not live up to their own promise and the expectation of the public.
The same time, I have a dream. one day, people could order a heart to
replace the failing one like I have tires of my car replaced today.
