I didnt read the paper but from what you have said, it is impossible that small molecule kinase can catalyze proteins.If it is indeed a small molecule kinase, and his paper showed it is protein kinase, I think he definitely manipulated the data. Sorry I dont have Chinese input right now.
Indeed PKM2 is a small molecule kinase, and its catalytic site can not accumulate a protein like a protein kinase. This is very likely another faked Cell paper.
