最近同时在读红楼梦和追忆似水年华。
总感到两部作品有些共同的地方。但很难说清楚。
大家谈谈？
红楼梦是我第一次读，热闹下面的悲哀。
女性化大概是我目前发现的一个共同点了。
追忆似水年华是读了很长时间的。
正在尝试英文C.K.Scott Moncerieff的。
可惜不通法文。
大概翻了各位对红楼梦的看法，非常有帮助。
特此挖坑欢迎探讨。

IMHO:
Similar settings: Life of the nobility, seen through a delicate, sensitive
male protagonist who is surrounded by highly colorful females.
A similar theme: The impermanence of life, love etc.
However the rest of these books are very different, especially in the
narratives. One tells a continuous although complex story, while the other
had a very nonlinear structure.
