马斯克都服,它的实力确实不容小觑
With efforts from both its Chinese and South Korean sides, Beijing Hyundai has gradually bounced back from the trough. In September, Beijing Hyundai sold 30,023 new cars, up 18.7 percent from the previous month, marking four consecutive months of higher sales since June.
Among them, the seventh generation Elantra had sales continuously exceeding 10,000 for three consecutive months since July; the SUV twins, composed of the fifth generation Tucson L and the all new ix35, sold more than 10,000 in August and 13,000 units in September.
Wu Zhoutao, the standing deputy manager of Beijing Hyundai, said that the sales rebound is thanks to the strong support of BAIC Group and Hyundai Group in aspects of capital, personnel, financial adjustment, technology and others.
In June, BAIC Investment and Hyundai Motor jointly invested 6 billion yuan to Beijing Hyundai, bringing financial support to the rebound of Beijing Hyundai.
Beijing Hyundai has also made a streamlined and efficient layout of its product lineup, and focused on creating three popular models: the seventh generation of Elantra, the fifth generation of Tucson L and the all new ix35.
Over the past years, Beijing Hyundai has deeply engaged in technology development. With the forward-looking technology of Hyundai Motor, it has provided an important technology foundation for product innovation, which is also the basis of Beijing Hyundai to continuously strengthen the technology label.
Under the HSMART+ strategy, Beijing Hyundai has committed to full efforts in the vehicle architecture, safety, intelligent driving and other aspects. A number of industry-leading technologies have given new momentum to its products.
For its next step, Beijing Hyundai will continue to improve the competitiveness of its products, make the transformation into intelligent and electric products, and provide more high-quality products for young consumers.
The carmaker plans to introduce exclusive electric vehicle models in 2023 and continues to expand its layout of new energy products, including SUVs and sedans, to develop the new energy product line in the next two to three years.
Beijing Hyundai will spend about three years to reach a market share of about 3 percent, with annual sales of 500,000-600,000 units, helping it return to the main track.
