President Xi Jinping will attend the 17th G20 Summit in Bali, Indonesia and the 29th APEC Economic Leaders' Meeting in Bangkok, Thailand, and visit Thailand this week.
二十国集团由七国集团财长会议于1999年倡议成立，最初为财长和央行行长会议机制，如今已发展成为各国元首和政府首脑参加的年度峰会，是一个兼顾世界主要发达国家和新兴经济体以及不同地域利益平衡的战略性多边平台。
二十国集团成员国的人口约占全球的2/3，国内生产总值占全球的80%以上，贸易额占全球的75%。
The G20 is a strategic multilateral platform connecting the world’s major developed and emerging economies. The G20 holds a strategic role in securing future global economic growth and prosperity. Together, the G20 members represent more than 80 percent of world GDP, 75 percent of international trade and 60 percent of the world population.
Starting in 1999 as a meeting for the finance minister and central bank governors, the G20 has evolved into a yearly summit involving the Head of State and Government.
印度尼西亚由17000多个岛屿组成，这里还有超过1300个民族，说着上百种语言。可以说，这是一个多元化的国家。
Geographically Indonesia consists of more than 17,000 islands with over 1300 ethnic groups and hundreds of linguistic groups. So it’s a country of diversity.
在巴厘岛的努沙杜阿有许多大型度假酒店，这些酒店将被用作本次峰会的会场。
There are many large resort hotels in Nusa Dua in Bali, which are being used as venues for this conference.
