Project Coordinator

Qualifications

- Baccalaureate Degree or above in arts or science

- Strong relationships with UCA community

- Experiences in project management and/or training, preferably on a national level

- Strong work ethics, and work well in team environment

- Experiences in not for profit or community organizations or volunteerism, event planning, and program development

- Strong interpersonal and problem solving skills.

- Strong verbal and written Chinese and English languages communication skills

- Familiar with Microsoft office

Roles and Responsibilities

- Report to the project director

- Maintaining strong relationships with community partnering organizations, trainers, participants through regular engagement, sharing project progress, and provide support

- Coordinate and track all program activities with assistance of area trainers and team members for all Mental Health First Aid MHFA training sessions working with trainers, tracking referrals to service providers and following up surveys,  provide administrative support to all MHFA-CA team members

- Write promotional and educational contents for Chinese publications related to MHFA, coordinate with translators for translating English materials into Chinese

- Schedule and provide all meeting agendas for the project team including quarterly meetings with partnering organizations,  the core team members including project director, project evaluator/research director,  research assistant, and others

- Initiate and support community outreach to local and national Chinese organizations

Specifications

- 10-15 hours/week, trial out period 3 months starting immediately

- $20-$22/hour

- Flexible work hours, some weekends

- North Carolina RTP area resident
