BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Currently enrolled in a Master's or PhD program in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology, Machine Learning, Robotics, Operations Research, Statistics, Mathematics, AI, or a related quantitative field
Degree program must be based in the United States or Canada with an expected graduation of December 2023 or later
For Summer Internship: Must be eligible for and available for full-time (40 hours per week) internship for at least 12 weeks between May to September 2023
For Spring Co-op: Must be eligible for and available for full-time (40 hours per week) internship for 5-6 months between January to June 2023
For Fall Co-op: Must be eligible for and available for full-time (40 hours per week) internship for 5-6 months between July to December 2023
Scientific mindset, familiarity with state-of-the-art algorithms, and the ability to invent, excellent creative problem-solving skills
Experience with programming languages such as Java, C++, Python
At least 1 year of relevant academic research or industry experience in within Robotics, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Optimization, Path Planning, Manipulation, Perception, Movement, and related
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to develop system prototypes
Demonstrated ability to work on collaborative, cross-functional teams
Drive to see a project through from research concept to working prototype
A working knowledge of analysis of algorithms and computational complexity
Preferred Qualifications and Interests:
Academic projects or professional experience in manipulating and analyzing datasets.
An understanding of or interest in applying statistics, quantitative and/or qualitative research methods to business problems, market research, or academic inquiries.
Experience in or willingness to learn SQL, Python, or other coding languages.
Interest in media or media analytics.

Ability to communicate complex analyses to technical and non-technical audiences.
