• Education or relevant practical experience in Data Science (Bachelors, Masters, Community College, and Bootcamps welcome to apply)  

• Must graduate during 2023 

• Fluent in English; written and verbal communication skills   

• Ability to work out of Palo Alto, San Francisco, and/or San Ramon offices (relocation stipend available) 

• Requirement of not needing permanent US work authorization (now or in the future) to be considered, there is no visa sponsorship available at this time. 

• Data Science: knowledge in Python, R, SQL, ML and AI topics, and data science methodologies and hands-on experience with data structures, algorithms, or complexity analysis

• Graduate student, Master’s degree, or Ph.D. candidate in related field like Data Engineer, Computer Science, Data Science, Bioinformatics), enrolled at the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign;

• Technical Skills like SQL, Semantic Modeling, Data Modeling, Enterprise Architecture, Data Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Data Management, Data Governance, Data Visualization (Tableau);

• Interest in data systems and/or Global Row Crop Breeding RD data related initiatives.

• Must be currently pursuing a bachelors, masters, or PhD degree at an accredited university

• Actively pursuing a degree or one closely related to Computer Science or Software Engineering

• Strong python programming background

• Hands on experience with cleaning and analyzing large scale data

• Ability to work in a fast-paced development environment

• Good team player with great communication skills

• Passionate about solving challenging problems and iterating quickly

• Familiarity with computer vision algorithm

• Experience designing/developing/deploying machine learning models

• Previous experience in building web tool for image visualization and data pipeline

• Have hands-on experience with AWS and services like EC2

• Have experience extracting and analyzing autonomous vehicle sensor data (CAMERA, LIDAR, CAN , GPS,…)
