Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field that focuses on Information Technology or Information Systems with exposure to computer-based technical content
Solid grasp of configuration management and the systems development lifecycle
Working knowledge of script development
Java or C++ programming experience is preferred
A phenomenal attitude and hunger for learning
Excellent analytical, written and oral communication skills
Ability to work within a collaborative environment
Ability to work in the U.S. for an indefinite period of time
Relevant coursework
Solid foundation in statistics
Programming/scripting proficiency in Python
Hands-on academic/side project experience working with data collection, manipulation, analysis, and/or modeling
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated track record of taking initiative and being resourceful
Ability to work collaboratively and solve problems
Strong communication skills, especially written
Leadership experience, whether formal or informal
Currently enrolled in a degree in quantitative field (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Economics, or other related fields).
Experience doing quantitative analysis including experience with SQL, other programming languages (e.g, Python) or statistical/mathematical software (e.g, R, SAS, MATLAB).
Experience with statistical methods such as forecasting, time series analysis, experimentation, hypothesis testing, classification, clustering, anomaly detection, regression analysis and/or others.
Experience developing data pipelines, building dashboard, and deploying machine learning models.
Ability to deal with ambiguity, drive projects / analyses to conclusion with limited supervision and communicate analysis in a clear, concise and actionable manner.
