Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field that focuses on Information Technology or Information Systems with exposure to computer-based technical content
Solid grasp of configuration management and the systems development lifecycle
Working knowledge of script development
Java or C++ programming experience is preferred
A phenomenal attitude and hunger for learning
Excellent analytical, written and oral communication skills
Ability to work within a collaborative environment
Ability to work in the U.S. for an indefinite period of time
Enrolled and working towards BS or MS in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning or related field.
Please note that in order to be eligible for an internship, we require that you be returning to school the following quarter/semester to work towards completing your degree
Must be attending a school in the U.S.
Strong technical foresight, understanding of object-oriented programming/design, algorithms, and data structures and how to efficiently implement them into a solution
Curiosity about how things work and tenacity to learn and bring new perspective
A strong work ethic, customer success and quality first, self-awareness and desire to challenge and solve problems
Strong communication skills, ability convey complex ideas, a positive approach, continuous learner and empathy to others
Experience deploying, monitoring and maintaining data science products in cloud environments such as AWS or Microsoft Azure
Good understanding of Machine Learning methods and Statistics, including ML project lifecycle and associated challenges at each stage of development
Can demonstrate written production quality, well-documented and tested, scalable code in Python. Experience with tools like mlFlow, Airflow, Docker and Cloud Platforms such as AWS/GCP is ideal.
Strong understanding of data transformations and analytics functions using tools/languages like Pandas, Sklearn, SQL and Spark
Knowledge of data privacy regulations and compliance practices; ability to maintain confidentiality while analyzing sensitive information
Ability to take complex datasets and create key takeaways and recommendations using several data sources
Innovative data visualization and storytelling skills using Tableau (development) or other data visualization tools
Solid consulting, presentation, technical, and analytical skills as well as the ability to enable others to tell a compelling story using data
Ability to construct professional presentations, recommendations, and strategic and tactical plans
Organized and detail-oriented with advanced capabilities in design
