Ph.D. in Computer Science or related technical field
Strong peer-reviewed publication track record
Solid programming skills, including C++, Python, Java, Javascript
Desire to do world-class publishable research and develop advanced features for Adobe’s imaging, video, and analytics products
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant program including, but not limited to: Data Analytics, Data Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent.
Proficiency in SQL, and comfort with a scripting language (e.g., Python) is a plus.
Proficiency with a data visualization tool (e.g., Tableau).
A good understanding of relational databases and database engineering concepts.
Familiarity with data pipelines and a Workflow Management Tool (e.g., Airflow) is desirable.
Excellent written and verbal communication across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Eagerness to collaborate cross-functionally with other business and engineering teams, while able to work independently.
Organized, detail-oriented, execution-focused, relentless and willing to find cracks in the system to expose problems.
Pursuing MS or PhD in Data Science, Computer science, Operations Research, Statistics or related quantitative fields.
Strong background knowledge in Statistical Analysis.
Experienced in solving problems using machine learning techniques (clustering, classification, outlier analysis, etc) and deep learning models (Neural Networks).
Strong coding skills, including the ability to write readable, testable, maintainable and extensible code (primarily Python)
Experience with common tools for data storage and processing (e.g. Spark, Hadoop Map/Reduce, Hive, Cassandra) including drilling into problems of running large scale software in a big network.
Strong experience in data cleaning, aggregation, transformation and extraction.
Track record of analysis of time series data is a plus.
Experience in active ML production pipelines is a plus (MlFlow, KubeFlow).
Excellent interpersonal, presentation and reporting skills should be your strong sides.
Experience working on an Agile or iterative development team
