突然成“网红”，有人为了它爬树！人大代表回应……

近日，大熊猫“和花”（小名“花花”）在各大社交平台走红，被网友戏称为“顶流女明星”。全国人大代表、成都大熊猫繁育研究基地副主任侯蓉带着初生熊猫仿真模型走上两会代表通道，对“和花”的走红作出回应。

The giant panda "He Hua", nicknamed "Hua Hua" by netizens, has recently become a top star on various social media platforms. Hou Rong, a deputy to the National People's Congress and deputy director of the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, responded to the popularity of "He Hua" at an interview ahead of the opening meeting of the first session of the 14th National People's Congress on March 5.

网友镜头下的“花花”憨态可掬，呆萌可爱。它毛发呈纯白色，比其他大熊猫小只。由于天生右后腿脚掌外翻，“花花”是熊猫基地唯一一只不会爬树的大熊猫，行动起来慢慢悠悠，萌化了众多游客的心。

正是由于“花花”不紧不慢的温顺性格，所以它总是被其他大熊猫夺食。然而，据网友拍摄画面，“花花”近日学会了婉拒，伸出自己的小爪一挡，谢绝了弟弟“和叶”的抢食。

这一挡，为花花吸引到了上百万粉丝。花花也很会营业，经常积极配合游客拍照，对着人群打招呼摆姿势。每天都有很多游客从全国各地赶来，只为见上它一面，甚至还有游客爬上了树。保安无奈喊话：你们对它的爱太多了！快从树上下来！

不少网友理性提醒：安全游园、文明“看花”。

被熊猫“粉丝”们亲切地称为“熊猫妈妈”的侯蓉3月5日作为来自四川的人大代表走上了“代表通道”，接受媒体的采访。她此次参会带来了许多有关于加强野生动物遗传数据保护和遏制动物疾病的提案。

Hou was behind the recent legal overhauls aimed at bolstering the wildlife genetic data conservation and curbing animal diseases.

谈及花花的走红，侯蓉表示：关心大熊猫、喜爱大熊猫的人越来越多，通过大熊猫关注到濒危野生动物保护和生态文明建设，这是好事。

侯蓉致力于大熊猫繁育和野生动物保护已有近三十年了。1995年，她第一次亲眼看到刚出生的熊猫宝宝，并与它进行了亲密接触。这个小生命所爆发出的响亮叫声令侯蓉震惊于它求生的欲望，并在她心中埋下了一颗种子，开启了她的职业生涯。

Her lifelong devotion to panda breeding and wildlife conservation can be traced back to a close contact with a baby panda in the autumn of 1995. "It was the first time I saw a panda newborn in person," she recalled.

However, such a tiny and delicate thing could give out surprisingly loud noises, which to Hou seemed to be its eagerness to survive and live on. The episode sowed a seed in her mind and let her marvel at the weight carried by panda breeders.

据侯蓉介绍，截至2022年底，她和同事们把成都熊猫基地大熊猫的数量从1994年的18只繁育到如今的237只，增长了12倍。

Her career at the breeding base in Chengdu saw the panda population rise from just 18 to more than 200 by end of last year.

在侯蓉看来，繁育大熊猫还只是一个阶段。“我们最终的目标还是帮助他们回到野外，让野生大熊猫能够永久生存繁衍下去。”

Though a veteran breeder, Hou said breeding is only a start. "Our ultimate goal is to let pandas to regain the wild nature and return to the wild," she said. "That entails better protection of panda's habitats."
