#英语学习#与美国留学有关的词汇: College (大学/学院)。“College”一词可以有两种不同的含义，如图中所示。“College”可以指一所高等教育机构，比如：“Marta will begin her studies at the local college after she graduates from high school.（Marta高中毕业后将在一所本地大学开始学习）”。“College”也可以指一所高等教育机构里的某一小部分、大学里的一个分支/部门，比如：“Marta will study journalism in the college of communications at North West University.（Marta将在西北大学的传播学院学习新闻学）”。

It can refer to a higher-education institution, for instance, "Marta will begin her studies at the local college after she graduates from high school."
