Knowledge & Skills:

• Ability to apply analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Understanding of disparate unstructured and structured data in a distributed environment.

• Understanding of structured and unstructured data and modern data transformation methodologies.

• Ability to create basic models to pull insights from data.

• Create stories and visualizations to describe and communicate data insights.

• Demonstrates analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Creative.

• Good written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.

Education & Experience: 

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.

• Typically 0-2 years’ experience including graduate or postgraduate research.

• Currently pursuing a PhD degree in Mathematics, Physics, Engineering sciences, or other related disciplines

• Deep knowledge of computational fluid/thermal dynamics, knowledge of the Lattice Boltzmann Method is preferred.

• Experience and excellent knowledge of Python, C++ programming and scientific libraries

• Excellent skills in machine learning libraries (JAX and PyTorch)

• A strong background in physics, numerical techniques, and computational methods, and parallel computing

• Experience using gradient-based optimization for solving large-scale optimization problems

• Proven record of publication and collaboration skills

• The ability to write code in at least one programming language

• A desire to work with other scientists and engineers

• Current enrollment in a graduate program
