Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree or above in Computer Science or equivalent technical degree 

• 2+ years professional software engineering experience using one or more modern languages such as Java, C#, Golang (Go), C++, etc.

• 2+ years professional software development experience on backend/infrastructure systems.

• Outstanding problem-solving skills

• Strong computer science fundamentals and experience with Data Structure and Algorithms

• Experience delivering projects with material impact, and collaborating within and across teams and roles (Product Management, SRE, Data Science, ML engineering, etc); 

  
  

Preferred: 

• Experience working with large-scale distributed systems

• Experience in Cloud or BigData platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, DataFlow, Spark, Beam, BigQuery etc.)

• Full-time student pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, Electrical Engineering or related technical field

• Strong C++ programming skills

• ROS (Robot Operating System) experience

• Interest in motion control or automated vehicle development

• Strong problem-solving skills – ability to troubleshoot complex software and systems to identify the root cause of the issue

• Interest in graph theory and search algorithms

• Interest in vehicle kinematics/dynamics

• Commit to a minimum of 8 weeks (the Program will be 8 to 10 weeks)

• Be Pursuing BS, MS or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, completing in Dec 2023 or May 2024 

• Have a minimum GPA of 3.8 or higher.

• Have programming experience in C++, Java, or Python.
