埃及艳后成黑人？网飞选角引争议，女演员：不喜欢可以不看
网飞公司（Netflix）的剧情式纪录片《埃及艳后》（Queen Cleopatra）将埃及托勒密王朝女王克利奥帕特拉七世（Queen Cleopatra VII）描绘成一个非洲黑人，这在埃及引发了争议。
A Netflix docudrama series that depicts Queen Cleopatra VII as a black African has sparked controversy in Egypt.

据英国广播公司（BBC）报道，4月16日，埃及律师马哈茂德·塞马里（Mahmoud al-Semary）提起诉讼，要求禁止在埃及访问Netflix。他声称《非洲女王：克利奥帕特拉女王》违反了埃及媒体法，并指责网飞旨在“扭曲和抹杀古埃及文化”。
Lawyer Mahmoud al-Semary filed a complaint with the public prosecutor demanding that he take "the necessary legal measures" and block access to Netflix's services in Egypt. He alleged that the series included visual material and content that violated Egypt's media laws and accused Netflix of trying to "promote the Afrocentric thinking... which includes slogans and writings aimed at distorting and erasing the Egyptian identity".
知名埃及考古学家、埃及前文物部长扎希·哈瓦斯（Zahi Hawass）强调，“克利奥帕特拉是希腊人”，因此她应是浅色皮肤，“埃及文明起源于黑人是虚假的、富有欺骗性的事实”。
Zahi Hawass, a prominent Egyptologist and former antiquities minister, told the al-Masry al-Youm newspaper: "This is completely fake. Cleopatra was Greek, meaning that she was light-skinned, not black."
"Netflix is trying to provoke confusion by spreading false and deceptive facts that the origin of the Egyptian civilisation is black," he added and called on Egyptians to take a stand against the streaming giant.
然而，制片人坚称，埃及艳后克利奥帕特拉七世的传统形象“备受争议”，并无定论。扮演埃及艳后的女演员阿黛尔·詹姆斯（Adele James）回应道：“如果你不喜欢选角，就不要看。”她还在推特上发布了包含种族主义诽谤在内的辱骂性评论的截图。
But the producer said "her heritage is highly debated" and the actress playing her told critics: "If you don't like the casting, don't watch the show." Adele James made the comment in a Twitter post featuring screengrabs of abusive comments that included racist slurs.
Cleopatra was born in the Egyptian city of Alexandria in 69 BC and became the last queen of a Greek-speaking dynasty founded by Alexander the Great's Macedonian general Ptolemy.
She succeeded her father Ptolemy XII in 51 BC and ruled until her death in 30 BC. Afterwards, Egypt fell under Roman domination.
The identity of Cleopatra's mother is not known, and historians say it is possible that she, or any other female ancestor, was an indigenous Egyptian or from elsewhere in Africa.

Netflix's companion website Tudum reported in February that the choice to cast Adele James, a British actress who is of mixed race, as Cleopatra in its new documentary series was "a nod to the centuries-long conversation about the ruler's race".
担任执行制片人和解说员的美国女演员贾达·平克特·史密斯（Jada Pinkett Smith）在报道中表示：“我们不常看到或听到关于黑人女王的故事，但这些故事对我和我的女儿都非常重要。”
Jada Pinkett Smith, the American actress who was executive producer and narrator, was meanwhile quoted as saying: "We don't often get to see or hear stories about black queens, and that was really important for me, as well as for my daughter, and just for my community to be able to know those stories because there are tons of them!"

据《希腊城市时报》此前报道，《埃及艳后》预告片一经播出，就遭到了许多来自希腊和埃及网民的联署抗议，目前联署已经征集了约7万个签名。但该联署15日却被平台突然删除。
Over 85,000 people signed an online petition in just two days, however, it has since been removed from the platform without explanation.
联署声明称，纪录片应该按照史实选演员。联署发起人强调，此举并非歧视黑人，只是希望保护自己国家的历史。
The petition read: "This is in no way against black people, and is simply a wake up call to preserve the history and the integrity of the Egyptians and the Greeks."
