这群追火箭的年轻人，用相机记录火箭发射的钢铁柔情……

On July 24, the Wentian laboratory module flew into space from the Wenchang Launch site in Hainan province, South China, where thousands of space enthusiasts gathered to watch.

Among these enthusiasts is a team of students. They study aerospace related subjects, take photos to record the launching of rockets, and may enter related careers in the future.

Li Guanhan, a senior student studing at Northwestern Polytechnical University, was interested in folding paper planes when he was in middle school. This interest lasted for a long time and inspired him to choose aircraft design and engineering as his major.

As the rocket soared, the baton was raised. Under the blue sky, the white tail flame of the rocket was accompanied by passionate music to commemorate the occasion.

Zhang Zhengpu, a student who just graduated from Northwestern Polytechnical University and will continue his master degree here, said that on photography skills, they may not vary much from other enthusiasts. "We want to convey our reverence for aerospace and share our stories of how we strive to achieve our childhood dream by becoming the next-generation aeronautics researcher."

"Since this is our major, we feel quite proud seeing in action the career that we may join later as the gigantic rocket soars into the sky," Zhang says.

While rocket launches may seem far away from the daily life of ordinary people, many relevant technologies which benefit us all have emerged from this field.

Gou Bingchen, a professor at the School of Mechanical Engineering at Northwestern Polytechnical University presents some examples. "Technologies featured in baby diapers, cushioned shoes, and microwaves are all examples of aerospace technologies adapted for civil use to improve our life."

Wenchang's aerospace characteristics made Longlou town famous and the boom of space tourism is heating up.

A local resident, Chen Li, known as Li Ge, 62 years old, has run a Hainanese restaurant in the town for 31 years. These days, he said, the number of customers in his restaurant has increased more than 10 times. The first floor and second floors are full. Many local workers have also returned home to start small businesses.

Thousands of townspeople and space enthusiasts eagerly looked up to the sky amid the roar of the rockets and the sound of many exclamations as Wentian laboratory module soared into the sky. The excitement of seeing the rocket take off was beyond description.

The starry sky is vast. Exploring it is the romance of all mankin. For this group of young rocket chasers, their youthful dreams about space are carried with every rocket launch.

For every ordinary people, how far are we from exploring the universe? Maybe it's just the distance of looking up, or another affectionate gaze into the sky.
