2023年香港大学全国创新创业大赛总决赛晋级项目展示——香港赛区

2023年香港大学全国创新创业大赛是香港大学112年来首次举办包括香港赛区在内的全国性大赛，共分为初创组及成长组两大组别；香港、北京、上海、深圳、广州、成都六大赛区；覆盖人工智能、信息技术、生物医疗、节能环保、文化创意、大消费、智能制造七大热门领域；获得了全国各地创新创业团队的积极响应，共有超过230个双创项目踊跃报名。

经过六大赛区初赛的激烈角逐，最终19个创意新颖、兼具市场前景、投资价值及社会责任担当的参赛项目脱颖而出，晋级全国总决赛。12月16日，他们将齐聚香港大学，展开巅峰对决。

Seekr

Vidi Labs develops computer vision solutions for different use cases, incorporating the most updated techniques in object detection and tracking, image captioning and classification, segmentation, etc.

Our flagship product Seekr is a compact wearable device designed for visually impaired individuals and elderly citizens to navigate daily life independently and safely, with the help of computer vision and a real-time, curated audio feed that guides the user through daily navigation and activities.

By harnessing the power of edge AI, Seekr has been able to miniaturize the traditionally bulky hardware associated with machine learning and vision assistive technology, opening up the possibility of incorporating these capabilities into small form factor, fashionable wearable devices with low latency and high privacy. This innovation sets us apart from other visual assistive technologies because we minimize the risk of stigmatization, attracting unwanted and potentially dangerous attention in public, all while providing more battery life, reliable predictions, and user-friendly design.

At the heart of Seekr’s technology is a proprietary quantized AI model. This has enabled Seekr to achieve low latency machine learning feedback while operating within the power and computational constraints of embedded hardware Integrated Circuits (ICs).

Real-time analysis is crucial for technology helping with navigation and personal safety, especially for visually impaired users and elderly citizens with deteriorating eyesight, and our ability to achieve both accuracy and speed, resulting in a reliable device that is truly useful in day to day life, can be life-changing for visually impaired people

The global gaming audience is a lucrative opportunity for advertisers. The number of global gamers will exceed 3.8 billion by 2027 which will represent 40% of world’s population. In-game advertising revenue is expected to be 150 billion USD by 2027. VR gamers tend to be most powerful consumers of latest tech gadgets, newest games, and avid fandom of anime, comics, and movies. Vivacity’s role is to effective match this audience with brands that can bring value to them. Vivacity’s major partners include brands in gaming, entertainment, IT, and global IP.
