生成式人工智能是一种能够使用生成模型生成文本、图像、视频或其他数据的人工智能，通常是根据提示生成的。生成式AI模型学习其输入训练数据的模式和结构，然后生成具有相似特征的新数据。中国和美国都是世界上人工智能研究和技术领先的国家。哪些行业需要人工智能经验?人工智能会取代人类吗?来自特拉华大学的Emily Liu将为我们带来一场关于人工智能如何改变世界的讲座。 

Generative artificial intelligence is artificial intelligence capable of generating text, images, videos, or other data using generative models, often in response to prompts. Generative AI models learn the patterns and structure of their input training data and then generate new data that has similar characteristics. Both China and the United States are leading countries in AI research and technology around the world. Which industries require AI experience? Will AI replace humans? Emily Liu from Delaware University will bring us a presentation about how AI is changing the world.

嘉宾简介： 

Speaker: Emily Liu 

美国特拉华大学语言中心国际市场招生副主任。毕业于美国特拉华大学获得MBA和环境工程硕士学位。任职招生官以来，作为主讲人参加和举办过多场讲座，讲座内容包括，申请，选择学校，美国生活，美国学习，美国求职等。赴美求学期间，获得三份实习，包括校内和美国小型金融机构，毕业后在美国500强企亚士兰任职全球产品研究员。赴美留学前任职于全球前五名的市场研究公司作为高级研究员。 

Emily 热衷于探索人工智能在非教学领域内的应用，特别是如何利用AI技术优化国际教育领域的工作效率、数据分析、市场研究和多语言交流。她的愿景是通过技术创新，帮助国际学院扩大其全球影响力并提高招生效率，推动教育行业的整体发展。 

Emily Liu joined the University of Delaware English Language Institute (ELI) in 2013. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from the Chongqing University in China, her Masters of Science in Civil Engineering and MBA from the University of Delaware.  At the ELI, she currently serves as the acting assistant director of the office of recruitment, marketing, and communication. Prior to joining the ELI, Emily worked as a market researcher for four years in an IPSOS which is one of the largest market research in China. 

Emily is deeply engaged in investigating the use of artificial intelligence outside the realm of teaching, focusing on how AI can enhance work efficiency, data analysis, market research, and facilitate multilingual video translation within the international education sector. Her ambition lies in leveraging technological advancements to assist international colleges in broadening their global presence and boosting enrollment rates, thereby fostering the comprehensive growth of the education sector.
