Translator- Localization Manager

Job Description:

1. Act as a functional lead and provide support for teams, including copywriters, translators, and freelancers.

2. Manage resource e.g.HK/CN/TW/KR, also means find new ones, interview, test, discuss costs, etc.

3. Responsible for clear documents and records, monthly recap of translation work per word count and affinity % for invoicing. To provide quotation according to the requirement from costumers. including invoice, purchase order, etc.

Requirements:

1.BA in an area related to Language is preferred or equivalent related work experience.

2.Minimum 3+ years of management experience or leadership roles within teams; Experience leading translators, LQA or localizers; Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a localization, localization quality or language management.

3.Solid track record of delivering a truly geo-optimized localization experience to global customers. This includes customer-facing content for websites, apps, and multimedia.

4.Native-level English fluency (spoken and written) is required; Proficiency in languages other than English is a plus.

5.Translation or agency company experience is a plus.
