If passed, SB 478 would prohibit a business from advertising a certain price and then adding on mandatory charges. Instead, businesses would need to include all required charges, other than taxes, as part of the good or service’s face value price.

我觉得这个挺好的，明码标价，别advertise一个菜价，吃完了再这个费那个费各种加。渔人码头的螃蟹馆子就这德行。

说得对。我觉得最好再进一步，make it illegal to ask for tipping before service is delivered. 小费本来就是根据服务质量的感谢，服务还没提供呢，刚order完就收小费算哪门子事？

本来就应该这样 凡是强制得 就有意思明确写出来 由消费者决定在不在这家吃 不要菜单上一个价 收据上价格强制health compensation， inflation adjustment
