要换屋顶，需要挪每家的condensor - moving fee $1000+, will allow 3 months to pay from June - Aug.

The move was scheduled for April, but didn't happen until June.

My unit was closed in May and the moving fee was not included in the closing statement. 

Now the buyer is asking me to send her a check to pay for it.

The work was not done while I owned the unit - Should I pay for it?   

My "attorney" -who did the closing - advices me to pay or the buyer may sue me, then I will have to pay for her attorney fee also.

你的“律师”站着说话不腰疼，当然是你付了最好，他最省事。但是对你最有利吗？

对方角度看，

第一，给你发个信讨钱，不讨白不讨，他没有成本，说不定你怂了就付了呢。你当然不能马上就付。

第二，雇个律师起价就是五千元，值得为了一千元的事情去请律师吗?  

你的对策

第一，你要是胆子大，就不理会对方。一千元不值得打官司的。

第二，告诉他HOA resale package里面他自己没看到吗？我也不知道resale package有没有提，但是bullshxt 一下对方。然后，offer 对半分，同不同意看对方自己的修行。

想一想，川普会怎么做？有时候真是要学会忽悠人。

我觉得是楼主鸡贼，以为不放在disclosure里面可以蒙混过关，应该付这笔钱，因为你没告诉买家会有这笔支出

1000你觉得是小数，假如不是1000而是10万，这绝对会影响买家的决策。所以没有disclose就是楼主的问题，应该付钱

一千就付了吧。不值得打官司告状

这个是在卖房前HOA 已经scheduled 费用

必须卖方付,只是付款日期是在closing 后，escrow 应该从卖方卖房款提留这笔钱转到hoa.但escrow没提留。

如果HOA只是个proposal 在Closing前没有决定或scheduled,买方的责任付这笔钱（HOA的文件已经披露了买方知道并同意）

你还是付了吧，否则的话，律师加上1000。损失更多，当然你可以试试，能不能付一半
