I dont think Thompson and Knight has any office in China, so I assume the
choice is between those two firms' NY office.
Thompson is a 2nd tier player in TX while Shearman is a V15 firm.
Hours is longer at Shearman for sure(definitely less than 70-80 hours)but
pay is better.
Working at Thompson might give you a less miserable life.
